Acadia
Acadia National Park has been on my list of places to visit for many years and it is on my list to go back. It was so beautiful to see even when it was misty and cloud covered, it was like the park was expressing it’s many moods for me to see!
I had gotten a booking in one of the park campsites for the first night. I didn’t have a plan for the second night! But all turned out great! After camping for that first night, we woke up to witness this beautiful sunrise and then the second night we scored a beautiful spot over looking a little inlet.
Cape Elizabeth
When you get to Cape Elizabeth, there is a large parking lot once you get through the gates. There are several paths to walk, the main one right along the edge of the ocean, with perfect views of the sunrise with the lighthouse as a backdrop.
