Bahama Islands
The beauty of the beaches and the sunsets are second to none. I wish we had had more time to do things, we swam with the pigs, walked the Garden of the Groves, hiked the Lucayan NP, and went snorkeling and diving.
The stories about the Lucayan people and the underwater caves were very interesting as told by our driver. The otherside of the park was the beautiful beach that the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”. The movie was shot at low tide, giving it the massive expanse of beach. I was there during high tide but still enjoyed it. We also got to taste fresh coconut milk and meat right at the beach! It was so good! Quite filling too!
While most people take a cruise over to the islands and then get off for limited shore excursions, I decided to cruise over, stay four 4 nights and then cruise back.
